Crash Test Dummies is the first and premiere episode of Season Eight of Impractical Jokers and the 178th episode overall. It aired on March 28, 2019. The Inside Jokes version of this episode aired on July 21, 2020.
Summary[]
Murr, Sal, Joe and Q take some customers for a wild ride, and things get messy when they ask fellow shoppers for a hand; the big losers suffer a monster punishment that leaves them crushed.

- Punishment: Sal and Murr are taken to a Monster Jam event where they are put in speeders and must perform 3 jumps. Whoever handles the jumps worst will have a valuable item crushed (for Sal it's a Impractical Jokers pinball machine, and for Murr it's his fleet of Segways). After both Jokers have performed their 3 jumps, Q and Joe decide to crush both Sal and Murrs items. They bring out a Monster Truck that demolishes the items.

- In the beginning of this episode, after the warning plays, there's a clip of Joe saying "First one of Season 8!" while showing a clip of the challenges and punishment.
- This is the 3rd episode to have a punishment take place at the Prudential Center, with the first being Deal With the Devils and the second being Drum and Drummer. Coincidentally, they are all two-way punishments.
- This is the third episode where Murr and Sal are both punished, with the first being Snow Way Out and the second being HellCopter. Also, this is the second time Murr and Sal lose a season premiere together, following the latter.
- The punishment in this episode is likely Q's revenge for when his jeep was blown up in the Season Six finale G.I. Jokers.
