Bigger in Texas is the ninth episode of Season Three of Impractical Jokers and the fifty-fourth eisode overall. It aired on March 27, 2014 and it had a total of 1.45 million U.S. viewers. The Inside Jokes version of this episode aired on September 8, 2016.

Summary[]

While visiting the Lone Star State, the Jokers team up to teach classes at a dude ranch, sell cowboy boots, and wear blacked-out sunglasses. Later, one Joker's big mouth leaves him hog-tied to his steed at a loser's rodeo.

Challenges[]

Dude, Where's My Ranch?[]

Goal: Get the most votes from the customers.
Loser: Q and Murr got no votes.

The Jokers are separated in teams (Q and Murr vs. Sal, and Joe) and teach people in the ranch. The team with the least votes loses.

Western Wear[]

Goal: Do and Say What You're Told.
Loser: Murr

The guys are in a western style shop and must do and say what they are told.

Leading the Blind[]

Goal: Do and say what you're told while being unable to see.
Loser: Q made a bet on the whole episode that Murr wouldn't say "you guys clearly remember the Alamo" to an elderly couple, but he did, thus giving Q a punishment.

The guys have blind glasses and need to do and say what they are told. The gimmick is that they do these actions blinded with special sunglasses.

Punishment[]

Loser: Q
Punishment: As a result of the bet, Q has to host a rodeo show. He was face-to-face with a horse and a cowboy who knocked him down and dragged him by the horse.

Trivia[]

  • If Q had not made the bet, Murr would have lost the episode as per the normal Loss tallies. Because Murr went first in the challenge, however, there was a possibility that Q could lose the challenge, resulting in a double punishment instead had the bet not been made.
  • This is the third and final episode where a joker loses the whole episode on a bet. The first two are Do Something To My Face and The Alliance.
    • Coincidentally, all 3 episodes would have had Murr losing the episode instead had the bet not happened.
  • Along with Welcome to Miami and The Big Uneasy, as well as all other travelling episodes, this episode is set outside the New York metropolitan area. This also marks the first of such episodes.
