Hopeless and Changeless is the twenty-third episode of Season Four of Impractical Jokers and the one-hundredth episode overall. It aired on September 24, 2015. The Inside Jokes version of this episode aired on September 29, 2016.
Summary[]
The guys ask people at the park if they agree or disagree with their bizarre points of view, team up to give lessons on real estate, and complete three assigned tasks at a greeting card store.

Agree or Disagree?[]
- Goal: Convince a stranger to agree with you.
- Loser: Murr, Joe, and Sal
The guys are in Central Park and have to ask strangers if they agree with their statement about a ludicrous topic the other guys gave them. Q was the only winner because most of these topics were highly disagreeable.
Go for Brokers[]
- Team-Based: Sal and Murr vs. Q and Joe
- Goal: Get the most hands raised.
- Loser: Joe and Q
The guys are teamed up doing a presentation on real estate marketing. The team of Joe and Q lose with zero votes after eliminating a voter and having a discriminating but humorous slide against female employees. Joe's real house is mocked in a slide.

- Joker vs. Joker: Murr vs. Q
- Goal: Perform the 3 secret actions.
- Loser: Murr
At a greeting card shop, Murr and Q compete in a Joker vs. Joker Challenge with a Double-Down twist, giving two losses in one challenge. There are three tasks inside cards with increasing difficulty and all of them must be completed to avoid the losses, Murr fails when he is unable to get into a person's shirt. The challenge has many similarities to the Season Two challenge This Book Will Self-Instruct.
Punishment[]
- Loser: Murr
- Punishment: Murr is the loser and must pose as a snack vendor at a horse racing event. He sells popcorn for $3.75, peanuts for $3.25, and water for $2.25 and no matter how much someone pays for their item, he may not give change. It doesn't go well; as one man who paid $5 makes up for the scam by taking another bag of peanuts. Another older man who paid $10 chases him around the rows while he asks more people to buy his snacks. A woman pays $5 for a water bottle and asks for her change while her daughter looks at Murr like he doesn't know how math works. Finally she and the other people who had their change denied group up and chase him while he hitches a ride on a golf cart.

- Originally, the punishment was gonna have Murr be a jockey and ride a horse around course naked. But the producers did not approve of this idea, possibly because of the Strip High Five punishment.
